The authors present an approximation scheme for the numerical solution of systems of nonlinear Volterra integro-differential equations. The scheme is based on using a set of biorthogonal functions in suitably chosen Banach spaces. The kernels of the Volterra operators are assumed to be continuous. A very simple error estimate is derived.
