Fuzzy irreducible ideals in rings (Q1177697)

The concept of a fuzzy irreducible ideal of an ordinary ring is introduced as a generalization of an irreducible ideal of an ordinary ring, using characteristic mappings. The relation between fuzzy prime and fuzzy irreducible is investigated completely. Next the algebraic nature of fuzzy images of fuzzy irreducible ideals under a surjective homomorphism is studied in detail. Finally the concept of a fuzzy irreducible ideal is studied in the framework of Noetherian rings.
