Direct results for certain summation-integral type Baskakov-Szász operators (Q1682557)

The authors study certain summation-integral type Baskakov-Szász operators depending on two parameters. They prove some Voronovskaja type asymptotic formulae and estimate the rate of convergence in terms of the moduli of continuity. The weighted approximation properties for these operators are also considered. Furthermore, they study the rate of convergence for unbounded functions with derivatives of bounded variation.
