We quote the author's words: ``Let \(k\) be an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p \neq 0\) and \(Y \subset A^ n_ k\) be a surface defined as a complete intersection. Assume that the coordinate ring \(R\) of \(Y\) is a unique factorization domain. In an earlier article, I studied codimension one cycles of purely inseparable coverings of \(Y\); principally, coverings obtained by taking \(X = \text{Spec} (R [{\root n \of {g}}])\), where \(g \in R\). In the case where the ideal defining \(Y\) is homogeneous and \(g\) is homogeneous, it was shown that if \(g\) factors in \(R\) into a product of \(q\) distinct irreducible elements, then the divisor class group of \(X\) is a direct sum of \(q-1\) copies of \(\mathbb{Z}/p \mathbb{Z}\), provided that \(R\) meets some extra conditions. This paper obtains the same result without specifying any additional conditions on \(R\) and for \(Y\) of arbitrary dimension''.
