Manifold of primitive idempotents in a Jordan-Hilbert algebra (Q1309176)

This is a nice application of the methods of infinite-dimensional Riemannian geometry, the prime target of which is the study of the set of primitive idempotents of a Jordan-Hilbert algebra. As a main result, it is proved that this set carries a natural Riemann-Hilbert manifold structure. It is furthermore two-point homogeneous. This extends to the infinite-dimensional framework an earlier result of \textit{U. Hirzebruch} [Math. Z. 90, 339-354 (1965; Zbl 0139.392)] on compact Riemannian symmetric spaces of rank one.
