Among other results, the author proves the following theorem. \par For a finite group \(G\) the following three conditions are equivalent:\par (1) \(\vert G^{\prime}\vert \le 2\).\par (2) \(\mathcal{B}(G)\) (the monoid of the product-one sequences over \(G\)) is seminormal.\par (3) The class semigroup \(\mathcal{C}\) of \(\mathcal{B}(G)\) is Clifford, that is, \(\mathcal{C}\) is a union of groups. \par The above theorem gives an equivalence between certain properties of three algebraic objects: \(G\), \(\mathcal{B}(G)\) and \(\mathcal{C}\). For comparison, recall that a finite group is abelian (equivalently, \(\vert G^{\prime}\vert =1\)), if and only if \(\mathcal{B}(G)\) is Krull if and only if the class semigroup \(\mathcal{C}\) is a group.\par The author also studies sets of lengths in \(\mathcal{B}(G)\). Here is one of his results.\par Two finite groups with the same set of lengths, are isomorphic under each of the following two conditions:\par (1) One of the two groups is of odd order and the second group is cyclic. \par (2) The Davenport constant of one of the two groups is \(6\). \par Moreover, the author enumerates, up to isomorphism, all the finite groups with Davenport constant equal to \(6\). The number of these groups is \(6\). For Part I see [the author, J. Commut. Algebra 12, No. 3, 409--433 (2020; Zbl 1459.20043)].
