It is well known that a Siegel modular form on a Siegel congruence subgroup is a cups form, if its Fourier coefficients satisfy a growth condition (e.g., the Hecke bound) at all cusps. The authors conjecture that it is enough to assume this growth condition at a single cusp and prove their conjecture if the weight of the modular form is large compared to the degree \(k\geq 2n\). For the proof they use the relation between Fourier coefficients and Hecke eigenvalues provided by Andrianov. The restriction on the weight might be avoided by knowing better bounds on the Hecke eigenvalues of cusp forms. In a different paper [Math. Z. 283, No. 1--2, 539--553 (2016; Zbl 1337.11027)] the authors deal with small weights.
