\textit{K. Dekimpe} and \textit{P. Igodt} [Invent. Math. 291, No. 1, 121-140 (1997; Zbl 0867.20031) and Math. Z. 234, No. 3, 457-485 (2000; Zbl 0972.57021)] proved that each polycyclic-by-finite group \(\Gamma\) admits a polynomial action of bounded degree on some \(\mathbb{R}^n\) which is properly discontinuous and such that the quotient \(\Gamma\backslash\mathbb{R}^n\) is compact (this is called a polynomial crystallographic action). In this paper, the authors prove that two polynomial crystallographic actions of bounded degree on some \(\mathbb{R}^n\) of a polycyclic-by-finite group are unique up to conjugation by a polynomial transformation of \(\mathbb{R}^n\). This nicely generalizes an analogous result for affine crystallographic actions [\textit{D. Fried, W. M. Goldman}, Adv. Math. 47, 1-49 (1983; Zbl 0571.57030)].
