A very technical criterion is given for a generalized free product with amalgamation of two conjugacy separable groups amalgamating a cyclic subgroup to be itself conjugacy separable. Applying this result, a tree product of finitely many conjugacy separable, finitely generated torsion-free nilpotent groups amalgamating cyclic subgroups is conjugacy separable.
