The authors study interpolation by Lagrange polynomials of functions which are holomorphic in a neighborhood of a polynomially convex nonpluripolar compact set \(K\subset\mathbb{C}^ n\). In the case \(n=1\), they give three conditions on an array of points in \(K\), each of which is sufficient, but not necessary, to imply that the corresponding sequence of Lagrange interpolating polynomials for a holomorphic function \(f\) converges uniformly to \(f\) on \(K\) (Theorem 1.5.) Two of the conditions are satisfied by Leja sequences. For the case \(n>1\), the authors discuss analogous conditions on an array of points, and obtain partial results concerning their relationship to each other and to the uniform convergence of Lagrange interpolating polynomials (Theorem 4.1). An example is given of an array satisfying two of the conditions. The paper concludes with a list of ten open problems.
