The referred volume offers a methodological study of classical non-cooperative game models from a mostly epistemological point of view. After the preliminary introduction of the basic concepts, the remaining four chapters are clustered in two parts. The first one of them deals with non-cooperative games in normal and extensive form, and its subchapters are focused on ``inner'' structures of such games. In the second part, the applications and methods of game theory are treated from the point of view of their external user. This part also includes an illustrative case study. The volume is completed by a representative bibliography and index.
