It is shown that under certain conditions any cubic matrix \(b(n,m,k)\), \(n\), \(m\), \(k\in \mathbb{N}\), determines a locally compact topological space, a Radon measure, and an orthogonal system of continuous functions \(t_ n\) vanishing at infinity such that \[ t_ n t_ m= \sum^ \infty_{k=0} b(n,m,k) t_ k. \] The space and the system of functions \(t_ n\), \(n\in \mathbb{N}\), are unique.
