A representation of the exact solution for the infinite system of linear equations \(Ay = b\) (Eq. 1) is derived, by proceeding as follows. (1) Let \(A\) be a bounded operator from \(l^2\) onto \(l^2\). (2) Establish a one-to-one mapping \(\rho: l^2 \rightarrow W^1_2[0,1] = \{u(x)| u(x)\) is an absolute continuous real-valued function on [0,1] with \(u^\prime \in L^2[0,1]\)\}). (3) Transform (Eq.1) into \(Ku = f\) (Eq.2), where, \(u \in W^1_2[0,1], f = \rho b, K= \rho A{\rho^-}^{1}\). (4) Give the representation of the exact solution for (Eq. 2). (5) Represent the exact solution for (Eq. 1) by \(y = {\rho^-}^{1u}\). Further, a sufficient and necessary condition for (Eq. 1) which has solutions is proved. The exact solution of (Eq. 2) having the form of a series as well as an approximate solution for (Eq. 2) are given. Then an approximate solution can be obtained for (Eq. 1). This approximate solution is an explicit representation and guarantees convergence.
