The paper gives an attempt to present Kronecker's ideas on the foundations of mathematics and the concept of number as published in a paper of 1887. The author pretends to describe the content of that paper ``in a rather free way'', i.e., making use (and abuse) of modern symbolism: as a matter of fact the reader is flooded in a flow of personal symbols invented by the author so that in comparison Kronecker's own words appear of rare evidence. Unfortunately, moreover, there are many flaws and mistakes in the paper; in particular, the very first step of the author's `reconstruction' is based on the consideration of the ring(ö) N of the natural numbers, which makes rather dubious all the rest.
