On discrete Borell-Brascamp-Lieb inequalities (Q783776)

A discrete version of the Borell-Brascamp-Lieb inequality is obtained for the sum over finite subsets of the integer lattice \(\mathbb{Z}^n\), in a particular framework. The environment of this research is created by a similar technique as used in case of the discrete Brunn-Minkowski type inequality by \textit{M. A. Hernández Cifre} et al. [SIAM J. Discrete Math. 32, No. 3, 1840--1856 (2018; Zbl 1396.52013)]. The possibility of retrieving the classical Borell-Brascamp-Lieb inequality from the new discrete version is proved for Riemann integrable functions.
