Let \(L\) be a finite-dimensional nonabelian Lie-algebra over a field \(k\) of characteristic 0, \(U(L)\) its enveloping algebra. Continuing their work [in J. Algebra 130, No. 2, 311-327 (1990; Zbl 0701.17005)], the authors give necessary and sufficient conditions for certain central extensions and semicentral localizations of \(U(L)\) to be primitive. These conditions are definitely reminiscent of the well-known Dixmier conditions, but exhibit some important and interesting difference from the latter.
