Continuous nontransitive additive conjoint measurement (Q2639756)

This paper axiomizes a nontransitive generalization of the additive utility representation for preferences on multiattribute outcomes. After a comparison with earlier models, and some fundamental topological definitions and lemmas, an axiom system is given under which a certain continuous skew symmetric functional exists. After some independence and existence results the paper deals with ordering the factors, respectively orders within the factors. Then global relations and bisections are treated. Uniform positive sequences, functions for the model, denseness, and extremes are regarded too.
