Durch Modifikation des für die stetigen Größen angegebenen vollständigen Systems von Postulaten ergeben sich zwei gleichberechtigte für den Inbegriff der ganzen Zahlen. In ähnlicher Weise wird ein vollständiges System von Postulaten erhalten, welches die positiven rationalen Zahlen charakterisiert.
