The authors study the notion of \(r\)-entropy and prove that measure-theoretic \(r\)-entropy and topological \(r\)-entropy are generalizations of measure-theoretic entropy and topological entropy, respectively. In fact, \(r\)-entropy tends to entropy when \(r\) tends to zero. It is proved that topological \(r\)-entropy is at least the supremum of 4\(r\)-entropy in the sense of Feldman's definition, where the measure varies among all ergodic Borel probability measures.
