The author presents a polygonal description of semisimple tensor categories. This kind of geometrical presentation of tensor categories is useful in actual computations to get perspectives. The author analyses the rigidity as well as the associated involutions in terms of this polygonal description. The author has insisted throughout on an elementary technique that reveals a great deal more about the situation at hand. The paper leads to a very highly polished presentation.
