    The concept of an \(\mathbb M\)-approximate system is introduced as a general framework allowing to generalize fuzzy sets, fuzzy topological spaces and rough sets. Basic properties of the category of \(\mathbb M\)-approximate systems and morphisms defined between them in a natural way are studied.
