    The following result is proved: Theorem. Let \(P_ n(z)= a_ n\prod_{\nu=1}^ n (z-z_ \nu)\), \(a_ n\neq 0\) be a polynomial of degree \(n\). If \(| z_ \nu|\geq K_ \nu\geq 1\), \(1\leq\nu \leq n\), then for \(p\geq 1\) \[ \left(\int_ 0^{2\pi} | P_ n'(e^{i\theta})|^ p d\theta \right)^{1/p}\leq n F_ p\left( \int_ 0^{2\pi} | P_ n(e^{i\theta})|^ p \right)^{1/p}, \] where \(F_ p=(2\pi/ (\int_ 0^{2\pi} | t_ 0+ e^{i\theta}|^ p d\theta))^{1/p}\) and \(t_ 0= 1+ n/(\sum_{\nu=1}^ n (1/(K_ \nu-1)))\). The result is the best possible in the case \(K_ \nu=1\), \(\nu=1,2,\dots,n\), \((t_ 0=1)\) and the equality holds for the polynomial \(p(z)= (z+1)^ n\). If \(K_ \nu=1\) for some \(\nu\), then \(t_ 0=1\) and the results reduce to the result due to \textit{N. G. de Bruijn} [Inequalities concerning polynomials in the complex domain, Indagationes Math. 9, 591-598 (1947; Zbl 0029.19802)]. If \(K_ \nu\geq K\geq 1\) for all \(\nu\) then the result reduces to the result of \textit{N. K. Govil} and \textit{Q. I. Rahman} [Trans. Am. Math. Soc. 137, 501-517 (1969; Zbl 0189.085)]. If \(p\to\infty\) then this result improves the very known Bernstein's inequality for the polynomials not vanishing in the disc.
