    Consider the inverse spectral problem for the Sturm-Liouville operator defined by \[ -y''(x)+q(x)y(x)=\lambda y(x)\text{ for }0\leq x\leq\pi, \] \[ y'(0)-hy(0)=0,\quad y'(\pi)+Hy(\pi)=0, \] and an interior transmission condition \[ y\left( \frac{\pi}{2}+0\right) =a_{1}y\left( \frac{\pi}{2}-0\right)\text{ and }y'\left( \frac{\pi}{2}+0\right) =a_{2}y\left( \frac{\pi}{2}-0\right) +1/a_{1}y'\left( \frac{\pi} {2}-0\right) . \] Here, \(q\in L^{2}\left( 0,\pi\right) \) and \(a_{1} ,\;a_{2}\in\mathbb{R.}\) Usually one can recover \(q,h\) and \(H\) from two spectra \(\left\{ \lambda_{n},\;\mu_{n}\right\} _{n\geq1}.\) Instead, here the author shows that one spectrum \(\lambda_{n}\), a subsequence of a second spectrum \(\mu_{l(n)}\) and \(y_{r(n)}'(b)/y_{r(n)}(b)\) where \(b\in\left( \frac{\pi}{2},\;\pi\right) \) are enough for uniqueness. The method uses a representation of the product of two solutions.
