Cohomology of the linear group with coefficients in matrix polynomials. (Cohomologie du groupe linéaire à coefficients dans les polynômes de matrices) (Q2381586)

In the study of functor cohomology, this paper extends the computation of \textit{V. Franjou} and \textit{E. M. Friendlander} [``Cohomology of bifunctors'', to appear in Proc. Lond. Math. Soc.] working on bifunctor cohomology for matrix polynomials under conjugation and detects candidates for universal cohomology classes in higher invariant theory. One can see the present results as a starting point for new computations and applications.
