The author's aim is to state a sufficient condition for the stability of systems of conservation laws. It is considered the case of small (proportional or integral) perturbations in the boundary conditions. To prove this result Riemann coordinates are used and the effect of the perturbations on the characteristic curves are studied. It is assumed that the perturbations are small in \(C^1\)-norm. The result is applied to the dynamic behaviour of a pipe filled with water.
