Artin-Schreier extensions and generalized associated orders (Q2637177)

Let \(F\) be a finite field of characteristic \(p\), and let \(L\) be an Artin-Schreier extension of degree \(p\) over \(k=F((x))\) with Galois group \(\mathrm G\). If \(O_L\) denotes the valuation ring of \(L\), \textit{A. Aiba} [J. Number Theory 102, No. 1, 118--124 (2003; Zbl 1035.11059)] has given an explicit basis of \(A(L|k)=\{a\in kG\mid aO_L\subset O_L\}\) as an \(F[[x]]\)-module and considered certain cases when \(O_L\) is free over \(A(L|k)\). Using a note of \textit{G. Lettl} [J. Number Theory 115, No. 1, 87--88 (2005; Zbl 1089.11006)], the author refines Aiba's results.
