The authors consider \(p\)-cyclic maps in uniform spaces. The existence of fixed points and best proximity points in restricted \(p\)-cyclic individual and pairs of self-maps is investigated separately under two groups of integral-type contractive conditions. Section 2 is devoted to describe the necessary preliminary formalism and also to obtain basic preliminary results. Section 3 studies the asymptotic properties of distances of nonexpansive, reasonably nonexpansive and contractive \(p\)-cyclic self-maps under a number of different integral-type contractive conditions. Section 4 extends some of the main results of Section 3 to the study of common fixed points and best proximity points. Applications and examples are given.
