We explicitly endow a manifold M diffeomorphic to \(R^ 4\) with a symplectic form \(\omega\) admitting a Lagrangian torus T such that \([\omega]=0\) in \(H^ 2(M,T;R)\). But then Gromov's theorem [\textit{M. Gromov}, Invent. Math. 82, 307-347 (1985; Zbl 0592.53025)] tells us that (M,\(\omega\)) does not symplectically embed in \((R^ 4,\omega_ 0)\). Thus \(\omega\) is an exotic symplectic structure on M.
