The \(q\)-twisted cohomology and the \(q\)-hypergeometric function at \(|q|=1\) (Q5935920)

The author uses the \(q\)-twisted cohomology in the Jordan-Pochhammer case to extend the notion of a \(q\)-hypergeometric series to the case where \(|q|= 1\) and \(q\) is not a root of unity. For these \((|q|=1)\)-hypergeometric series, he is able to prove a \(q\)-beta integral formula and to establish analogues of Heine's transformations, a 3-term \(_2\phi_1\) transformation, and the little \(q\)-Jacobi polynomials.
