Let \(\chi= (\chi_0, \ldots , \chi_n)\) denote a sequence of positive integers satisfying \(\chi_{j-1}\mid \chi_j\) for \(1\leq j \leq n\), called a divisive weight vector; it gives rise to an action of \(S^1\) on \(S^{2n+1}\subset \mathbb{C}^{n+1}\) given by \(t\cdot z=(t^{\chi_0}z_0, \ldots , t^{\chi_n}z_n)\) where \(t\in S^1\) and \(z=(z_0, \ldots, z_n)\in S^{n+1}\). Then the orbit space \(S^{n+1}/S^1\) is called the divisive weighted projective space and is written \(\mathbb{P}(\chi)\). In particular, in case \(\chi_0=1\), it becomes a \(T^n\)-space equipped with the action induced by \((t_1, \ldots, t_n)\cdot z=(z_0, t_1z_1, \ldots, t_nz_n)\) where \(T^n\) is the \(n\)-torus, i.e., the product of \(n\) circles \(S^1\times\cdots\times S^1\). We know that \(\mathbb{P}(\chi)\) is an equivariant CW-complex such that \(\mathbb{P}(\chi)=e^0\cup e^2\cup\cdots\cup e^{2n}\); the centers of \(e^j\) are fixed points. We write \(\Sigma_\chi\) for the fan associated with this. The theme of this paper is the description of \(E^*_{T^n}(\mathbb{P}(\chi))\) in a way which more directly reflects the properties of \(\Sigma_\chi\) where \(E=K, MU, H\). In fact, for example, in the case of \(E=K\) the authors obtain that \(K^0_{T^n}(\mathbb{P}(\chi))\) is isomorphic to the \(S^{\pm}_\mathbb{Z}(\alpha)\)-algebra of \textit{piecewise Laurent polynomials} on \(\Sigma_\chi\) where \(S^{\pm}_\mathbb{Z}(\alpha)\cong R(T^n)\); moreover \(K^1_{T^n}(\mathbb{P}(\chi))=0\). We also have that analogues of this statement hold for \(MU, H\). The proof of these results is essentially based on results of the first author et al. [Adv. Math. 197, No. 1, 198--221 (2005; Zbl 1110.55003)]. In the last two sections, the authors refer to two types of extensions of the results mentioned above. One is the Borel equivariant versions of these in the cases \(E=K, MU\) (in connection with this, the Chern character \(ch\) and the Boardman homomorphism \(bh\) are discussed); and the other one is results in the case of \textit{smooth} fans which have a similar description as above for \(E=K, MU, H\) and whose proof is done by applying the arguments used above, based on a result of the first author and \textit{G. D. Landweber} [Math. Res. Lett. 15, No. 1, 57--72 (2008; Zbl 1148.53063)].
