Let \(k\) be a an algebraically closed field of characteristic \(p>3\), \(E\) an elliptic curve over \(k\), \(D\) a proper smooth curve over \(k\), \(G\) a finite group acting on \(E\) and \(D\) faithfully, \(p\nmid \#G\), \(G=T\rtimes R\), where \(T\) is a group of translations of rank at most \(2\) and \(R\) is a group of rotations isomorphic to \(\{0\}, {\mathbb Z}/2,{\mathbb Z}/3, {\mathbb Z}/4\), or \({\mathbb Z}/6\), \(C=D/G\), \(Y=(E\times D)/G\), \(\tilde{X}\to Y\) the Hirzebruch-Jung resolution of the quotient singularities, \(\pi:X \to C\) the relatively minimal model of \(\tilde{X}\to C\). This is an isotrivial elliptic fibration with the common fiber \(E\). The author proves that if \(E\) is ordinary and a certain finite cover of \(C\) is ordinary, then \(X\) is ordinary. Suppose that \(E\) and \(D\) are defined over a number field. If \(R\) is trivial, the ordinary reduction theorem holds for \(X\) if and only if it holds for \(C\). If \(R\) is non-trivial, the ordinary reduction theorem holds for \(X\) if it holds for \(D/T\).
