Some notions of semigroup theory are generalized by means of using Green's relation \(\mathcal H\) instead of ``='' in their definitions. For example, ``idempotent modulo \(\mathcal H\)'' is an element \(a\) satisfying the condition \(a\mathcal Ha^2\). This approach gives a method of introducing new classes of semigroups which are analogs of well known classes. The author declares that he studies ``the interplays between these new classes of semigroups, as well as with various known classes notably of inverse, orthodox, \(E\)-solid and cryptic semigroups.
