Let \(L\) be a finite dimensional real Lie algebra. How can we construct the corresponding local Lie group? There are a lot of papers about this old problem (solved yet by S. Lie). The authors propose a new method for calculating the composition law of this local Lie group. The authors give a method to construct a rather explicit realization of a such Lie algebra \(L\) by invariant vector fields on the associated local Lie group using only the structure constants of this Lie algebra. It is shown that in the second canonical coordinates the problem can be solved by means of linear algebra and it is reduced to the computation of matrix inversions and matrix exponents. Then, they give a construction of the composition function of a local Lie group whose Lie algebra is known. The composition function in the second canonical coordinates can be found by explicit quadratures. At last it is proved that the transformation connecting the first and second canonical coordinate systems can be found by quadratures too.
