The main purpose of the paper is to estimate the total number of periodic solutions for some classes of differential equations in the form \[ \dot z := {\frac{dz}{dt}}=z^n+P_{n-1}(t)z^{n-1}+\dots+P_1(z)+P_0(t), \] where \(z\) is a complex-valued function and \(P_i\) are real-valued continuous functions. An explicit bound on the size of the coefficients is given which implies that each equation in the class has exactly \(n\) complex periodic solutions. The results can be used to give upper bound for the number of limit cycles of polynomial two-dimensional systems.
