    The method of zeta-function was introduced by S. W. Hawking as a basic tool for the regularization of infinities in quantum field theory (QFT) in curved space-time. This paper presents some uses of zeta-function regularization procedure as a mathematical tool also for quantum gravity models and cosmology.
