This work builds on previous work by the second author. The authors prove that for a system of NLS equations that model a three-wave interaction, the solution decays faster by logarithmic order than the free solutions if the initial data is small in some weighted Sobolev norm. In this way, they are able to extend Shimomura's work (see [\textit{A. Shimomura}, Commun. Partial Differ. Equations 31, No. 9, 1407--1423 (2006; Zbl 1105.35118)]) to a special system of NLS equations that describe laser-plasma interactions.
