The paper study the relations between various solutions of the generalised Chazy equation \[ y^{'''}-2yy^{''}+3y^{'2}-\frac{4}{36-k^{2}}(6y^{'}-y^{2})^{2}=0. \] Instead of the generalised Chasey equation, the following equivalent system of nonlinear first-order differential equations is used for the analysis \[ \begin{aligned} \frac{dP}{dx} &= \frac{1}{6}(P^{2}-Q),\\ \frac{dQ}{dx}& = \frac{2}{3}(PQ-R),\\ \frac{dR}{dx} & = PR+\frac{k^{2}}{36-k^{2}}Q^{2}. \end{aligned} \tag{1} \] The author proves a number of statements like the following Theorem. Suppose \((P,Q,R)\) satisfies (1) with parameter \(k=2\). Then the following holds. The triple \[ \left(P+2\mu,\;\frac{5}{4}Q+10\mu^{2},\;\frac{5}{4}R+\frac{25}{8}Q\mu+35\mu^{3}\right) \] satisfies the nonlinear system of differential equations (1) with parameter \(k=\frac{2}{3}\), where \(\mu\) is a root of the quartic equation \[ \mu^{4}+\frac{1}{12}Q\mu^{2}+\frac{1}{27}R\mu-\frac{1}{1728}Q^{2}S=0. \] Conversely, let \((P,Q,R)\) be a solution the nonlinear system of differential equations (1) with \(k=\frac{2}{3}\). Then \[ \left(P-\frac{Q^{2}}{40R},\;\frac{4}{5}Q-\frac{Q^{4}}{800R^{2}},\;\frac{4}{5}R-\frac{Q^{3}}{40R}-\frac{Q^{6}}{64000R}\right) \] solves the nonlinear system of differential equations (1) with \(k=2\) .
