The authors show that any dynamics on any discrete planar sequence \(S\) can be realized by the postsingular dynamics of some transcendental meromorphic function, provided one allows for small perturbations of \(S\). For detail, they prove the following. Theorem 1. Let \(S\subset\mathbb C\) be a discrete sequence (no finite accumulation points) with \(4\le |S|\le \infty\), let \(h:S\rightarrow S\) be any map, and let \(\varepsilon >0\). Then there exists a trancendental meromorphic function \(f:\mathbb C\rightarrow\hat{\mathbb C}\) and a bijection \(\psi :S\rightarrow P(f)\) with \(|\psi (s)-s|\rightarrow 0\) as \(s\rightarrow \infty\), \(|\psi (s)-s|\le\varepsilon\) for all \(s\in S\), and \(f|_{P(f)}=\psi \circ h\circ\psi^{-1}\). Here, \(P(f)\) stands for the postsingular set of the meromorphic function \(f\).
