Each Bernstein component in the smooth dual of a reductive \(p\)-adic group \(G\) is a non-commutative affine algebraic variety. In a series of paper, the authors have studied the geometric structure of the Bernstein component, which is now described using the notion of extended quotient. In the paper under the review, the authors show that in the case of the inner forms of \(\mathrm{SL}_n\) one has to use a twisted extended quotient, where the twisting is given by a family of \(2\)-cocycles. Let \(F\) denote a non-Archimedean local field. The authors prove that if \(G\) is an inner form of \(\mathrm{GL}_n(F)\) then there exists a canonical bijection between any Bernstein component in the smooth dual of \(G\) and the appropriate extended quotient. Also, if \(G\) is an inner form of \(\mathrm{SL}_n(F)\), then for any Bernstein component in the smooth dual of \(G\) there exists a family of \(2\)-cocycles and a canonical bijection between the Bernstein component and the appropriate twisted extended quotient. In each case, the canonical bijection satisfies naturality properties with respect to the tempered dual, parabolic induction, and central character.
