    The authors use singular traces to define cyclic cohomology classes for algebras of Lipschitz continuous functions and algebras of Hölder continuous functions. By pairing with higher algebraic \(K\)-theory in examples, they show that such classes can be nontrivial even they vanish on the algebra of smooth functions.
