    Differential-difference equations (DDEs) are the equations which contain both derivatives and differences. The present paper deals with DDEs of the form: \[ \dddot{u}_n=F_n(t, u_{n-1}, u_n, u_{n+1}, \dot{u}_{n-1}, \dot{u}_n, \dot{u}_{n+1}), \] where \(F_n\) is a nonlinear function of its arguments and the dot over \(u\) means differentiation with respect to \(t\). The used approach to the classification is a combination of the Lie point symmetries method, equivalence groups and the structure of finite-dimensional Lie algebras.
