The paper is concerned with the equation \(Lu=f\) in \(\Omega\subset \mathbb{R}^n\), where \(L\) is a generator of any possibly non-symmetric stable Lévy process. The authors give some basic properties of the operators \(L\) which include the explicit expression of their Fourier symbol. Interior regularity results and some fine boundary regularity estimates for the solutions of \(Lu=f\) are presented. New integration by parts identities in half-spaces for operators \(L\) which extend some known ones for the fractional Laplacian, and integration by parts identities in half-spaces for bounded \(C^{1,\alpha}\) domains are also established.
