A linear \(n\)-th order ordinary differential operator in the Sobolev space \(W_ 2^ n(0,1)\) is considered. The Birkhoff regularity of two-point boundary conditions is investigated. The author proves a corresponding theorem for arbitrary \(n\) greater or equal 2. The paper includes a short review of previous results concerning this topic.
