The authors determine explicitly an integral basis and a fundamental unit of \(\mathbb{Q} (w)\), where \(w^ 3+ aw -1 =0\), \(a\in \mathbb{Z} \smallsetminus \{0, -2\}\). They generalize and complete results of \textit{R. Morikawa} [Abh. Math. Semin. Univ. Hamb. 42, 72-77 (1974; Zbl 0297.12007)] and \textit{M. Ishida} [ibid. 39, 245-250 (1973; Zbl 0311.12005)].
