    Let \({\mathcal M}^N\) be a set of \(N\times N\) matrices with complex elements. We study solutions of the equation \[ \Psi(k, y)= I+ \int \int {d\sigma(\lambda, \Lambda)\over - k+ \Lambda} T(\lambda, \Lambda, y) \Psi(\lambda, y), \] where \(k\), \(\lambda\), \(\Lambda\in {\mathcal C}\), the integration is on the product \({\mathcal C}\times {\mathcal C}\), called the spectral plane, \(y\in {\mathcal C}^{M+ M'}\) as long as we consider only formal derivations, \(\Psi\) is wanted in a class of sufficiently smooth functions of \(k\), \(y\), with values in \({\mathcal M}^N\), \(d\sigma(\lambda, \Lambda)\) is a measure in the spectral plane, and \(T\) a function with values in \({\mathcal M}^N\), such that the product \(Td\sigma\) makes sense.
