In his previous paper [Invent. Math. 122, No. 1, 147-193 (1995; Zbl 0844.22015)] the author proved that if \(G\) is a solvable linear algebraic group over \(\mathbb{Q}\), the arithmetic subgroup \(G_\mathbb{Z}\) is a superrigid lattice in \(G_\mathbb{R}\) provided it is Zariski dense. In the reviewed paper this result is generalized to \(S\)-arithmetic subgroups of connected solvable groups defined over a number field \(K\) under the assumption that \(S\) is a finite set containing all Archimedean places.
