\textit{J. D. McNeal} proved [J. Geom. Anal. 4, No. 1, 91-103 (1994; Zbl 0804.32015)] that the Bergman kernel of a convex domain \(\Omega\) of finite type in \(\mathbb{C}^n\) is a standard kernel of Calderón-Zygmund type, and that the Bergman projection is bounded as an operator \(L_p(\Omega)\to L_p(\Omega)\) for \(1<p<\infty\). In the present article this result is generalised to the case where \(\Omega\) is pseudoconvex of finite type, where the Levi form of the boundary has at most one degenerate eigenvalue. Basically, use is made of estimates on the kernel previously obtained by the author [Math. Z. 222, No. 2, 329-339 (1996; Zbl 0864.32016)].
