Extending the method of contour integration to the case of non-uniform complex nodes, the author provides a Lagrange type interpolation formula that applies to a class of entire functions of exponential type which is consideraby wider than the class of band limited L2 functions [cf. \textit{R. M. Young}, An introduction to nonharmonic Fourier series (1980; Zbl 0493.42001)]. It is also shown that the admissible functions may grow even faster than any polynomial on the real line. Thus, a uniqueness theorem for entire functions of exponential type is also obtained as a generalization of the corresponding classical results.
