On the initial-value problem for the generalized two-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau equation (Q1378745)

The authors study global existence of solutions to the initial-value problem for the generalized two-dimensional Ginzburg-Landau equation by some delicate estimates. The investigated equation is more general than in other related papers. They extend the lower bound of the exponent for the nonlinear term to the case \(\sigma \geq (1+\sqrt{10})/2\) which is better than in related papers.
