Computation of volume integrals whose kernel satisfies Laplace's equation by embedding the domain into a rectangular region and solving Poisson's equation inside and Laplace's equation outside. Sophisticated treatment of the singularities at the boundary points. The extension to similar surface integrals is discussed.
